Mascot has changed character a lot over the last decade. The older free-standing homes and worker's cottages near the original village core are still there, but the suburb now sits under a forest of newer high-rise apartments — driven by proximity to the airport, the metro, and an easy run into the city. We work right across the spread.

For the apartment stock, most of our work is internal: downlight retrofits, kitchen and bathroom lighting upgrades, switchboard sub-board work, smart switches, and EV charger installs in shared basement car parks (which need careful coordination with strata). The newer builds usually have decent infrastructure but tired finishes — we tidy them up without ripping into the build.

On the commercial side, Mascot has a heavy concentration of offices, hotels, logistics depots, and aviation-adjacent businesses around the airport perimeter. We handle office fit-outs, exit/emergency lighting compliance audits, and dedicated circuits for IT and AV gear. After-hours work is standard for us in these spaces. For the older residential pockets, switchboard upgrades and general fault-finding round out the regular Mascot workload.
