Mani started Gemelec out of a single ute
I'm Mani. I've been doing electrical work for more than fifteen years, mostly across Sydney's Eastern Suburbs. I started Gemelec because I wanted to run a crew that turned up when it said it would, did clean work, and didn't pad the invoice with rubbish you didn't ask for.
It began as emergency callouts out of Maroubra and Randwick. A burnt-out switchboard at 11pm, a tripped main while a family had dinner guests, that kind of thing. Word got around quietly. People liked that the bloke who quoted the job was the bloke who actually did it.
These days we run a small fleet across Greater Sydney. I still take a lot of the jobs myself. When I can't, I send someone I'd happily have in my own home. Same standard, same finish, same straight answers.

We turn up in the window we quoted. If we're running late, you get a call before it costs you your day.

Tidy cable runs, labelled circuits, swept floor. You shouldn't be able to tell we were there, except the lights work.
